Jonathan Payne

Jonathan is a thought leader in the use of digital technologies to strengthen health systems in the developing world. As an engineer turned public health practitioner, he serves as an advisor to the Digital Impact Alliance at the United Nations Foundation and to the Regenstrief Institute Division of Global Health Informatics, and is an instructor at the Boston University School of Public Health. He founded and leads the Open Concept Lab (OCL) community of open-source tools that are helping to lower barriers to data use among low-income health systems. Jonathan is also a musician, composer, and avid sailor.
